Valley of flower is known for its meadows of endemic alpine flowers and the variety of flora. This richly diverse area is also home to rare and endangered animals, including the Asiatic black bear. snow leopard musk deer, etc

Situated at 3600 Mts, cover more than 88 sqkms, there are more than 650 kind of flowers in this park reported so far.
This Reserve is in the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves since 2004.

Gomukh, means "Mouth of a Cow". According to some sayings, earlier the snout exactly looked like "Mouth of a Cow".

  • Day 01
  • Arrival Delhi
    Meet on arrival at Delhi International Airport and transfer to the hotel.
    Day is free to relax.
    Overnight in Delhi
  • Day 02
  • Delhi
    After breakfast, proceed for city sightseeing- visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Humayun Tomb, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, India Gate, Parliament House and President’s House.
    Also experience the rickshaw ride through the narrow streets of Chandani Chowk.

  • Day 03
  • Delhi – Rishikesh
    After morning tea and cookies, departure transfer to the New Delhi Railway station
    Depart by Shatabdi express train to Haridwar, breakfast on board
    Meet on arrival and drive to Rishikesh. Check in to the hotel.
    Explore the streets of Rishikesh. Visit Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. 
    Evening: Attend the Ganga Aarti.

  • Rishikesh – Rudraprayag (141 KS)
    After breakfast, drive to Rudraprayag. It is small town which witnesses the confluence of two rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini.  
    Arrive Rudraprayag and check in to hotel.

  • Day 05
  • Rudraprayag – Joshimath (112 KS)
    After breakfast, drive to Joshimath, the gateway to many climbing expeditions, trekking trails, pilgrims like Badrinath and tourists destinations like Auli. This will be the last market en route Valley of Flowers.
    Arrive and check in to the hotel.

  • Joshimath – Govind Ghat – Ghangaria (14 KS)
    After early breakfast, pack your bag and drive to towards Govind Ghat, the starting point of this trek.
    The climb will be moderate with tea stalls and night shelters en route. After Pulna there is a steep climb till Ghangaria, base camp of Valley of Flowers.

  • Day 07
  • Ghangaria - Valley of Flower - Ghangaria
    After early breakfast, trek to Valley of Flowers with packed lunch. No camping or cooking is allowed in Valley of Flowers National Park.
    Situated in Bhyundar Valley at an elevation of 3658 Mts. from the sea level, it is vast expanse with myriad alpine flowers.
    After exploring the valley with our naturalist and spending some time here, trek back to Ghangaria.

  • Day 08
  • Ghangaria – Hemkund Sahib – Ghangaria
    After breakfast, trek to Hemkund Sahib. Situated at an altitude of 4300 Mts., it is a Sikh shrine dedicated to Sikh Guru Shri Govind Singh ji. Visit the Gurudwara and Lake.
    Trek back to the camp.

  • Ghangaria – Govindghat- Badrinath – Joshimath (44 KS)
    After early breakfast, trek down to Govindghat. Arrive at Govindghat and drive to Badrinath.
    Visit the famous Badrinath temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and after offering worships, drive back to Joshimath.

  • Joshimath – Rishikesh (254 KS)
    After breakfast and bidding farewell to your crew members, drive to Rishikesh.
    Arrive and check in to the hotel. Day is at leisure or visit Geeta Ashram and Shivananda Yoga Centre.

  • Rishikesh – Haridwar – Delhi
    After breakfast, day is free to relax.
    Post lunch, drive to Haridwar, visit Har-ki-Pauri old bazaar. Later, departure transfer to Haridwar Railway Station.
    Depart by Shatabdi Express train to Delhi. Dinner on board.
    Meet on arrival and transfer to the hotel.
    Overnight in Delhi

  • Delhi – Home
    After breakfast, day is free to explore the city with guide.
    After farewell dinner, departure transfer to the International Airport of Delhi
