Iain hails from Queensland, Australia and is the inspiration that led to the start of this initiative. He first visited India over 25 years ago and trekked in the Himalayas. Having stayed on his treks in various colonial Dak Bunglows that are over 100 years old, he became fascinated by this enchanting country. This small journey that began 25 years ago became his passion and still continues through time in different forms, be it trekking, motorbiking or a jeep safaris. He has traveled the length and breadth of this country and has lived the diversity in this long and enchanting journey. In time, he has shared his valuable experience with many people to promote India as a memorable experience. His other honorary endeavors in India include an orphanage that he supports at Dehradun, in the foothills of the Himalayas.
Sriniwas has a Bachelors Degree in Geography and a Masters Degree in Development Planning and Administration and has worked with organizations like UNICEF, Save the Children and CARE. He has a keen interest in travel. He has traveled widely in India, Nepal and Bhutan. He has planned and escorted many tours to different parts. He is perfect in tour planning and always keeps in mind that “transparent personalized services” is the only key maintain our relationship with clients. Moreover, his experience in working with NGOs provides an opportunity to introduce our clients to different facets of social development in India as also interact with both urban and rural communities.
Gautam has a Bachelors Degree in Geography and a Masters in Travel & Tourism Management from Delhi University. He is a trained mountaineer and has escorted many expeditions. More importantly, he also leads all our motorbike tours including reconnaissance tours. He has over 16 years of experience in tribal, cultural and adventure tours. Having traveled widely both in India and Nepal, he is full of amazing stories from all parts. Mokshada has a Bachelors Degree in Arts with a Masters degree in Travel and Tourism from Delhi University. She is the youngest member of our team. She is an excellent correspondent and handles all the tour file work. From accounts to itineraries or your arrival details, everything is on her fingertips. She is an experienced trekker and traveler. She is well informed about wildlife and Indian culture and tradition. She is a good escort especially for solo female travelers.
Born and brought up in the Garhwal Himalayas, Nita has a degree in tourism from Garhwal University. She is an experienced adventure-tourism consultant with a diversity of interests including, but not limited to, history, comparative religion and the cultures of the Himalayas.
Nita is an experienced 4X driver, leads treks in the Himalayas and tours throughout India. In addition she is an excellent cook with an exhaustive knowledge of the cuisines of India
Shashi Rao has been associated with the hospitality and travel industry since 1989. He has setup hotels, his own and for third parties, and has been involved with all facets of hotel planning and functioning during his time as a consultant with the hotel industry. He has worked with inbound travelers for over twenty years now, both individuals and groups, and is experienced in the design, planning and operation of tours in India. Areas of interest include website design and implementation of online marketing strategies related to the travel trade.
A Science graduate from Rajasthan University, Mr. Mittal has worked with Mumbai Natural History Society for more than 10 years. Being born and brought up in Bharatpur, a town in Rajasthan also famous for its Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary, he has always been fascinated by with the hundreds of species of birds that visit his town. Keoladeo National Park is the only bird sanctuary in Rajasthan which is also a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Though his work for the Ecology of Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary keeps him engaged most of the time, on request, he is always available as a nature guide for our clients. He is widely traveled and has covered almost all the national parks and wildlife sanctuaries in India and Nepal. He is also associated with many Wild life projects especially on birds , both residents and migratory.
When he is around bird watching becomes more interesting as he does not just share his knowledge on ornithology but also shows you the right angle to click a bird.
Sonam Rinchen lives in Leh and takes good care of all our guests visiting the Leh and Ladakh region. Born and brought up in the lap of Himalayas, he is an experienced trekker with a deep knowledge about Buddhist religion and culture. He is a perfectionist when it comes to organizing mountaineering expeditions, jeep safaris or treks.
When not busy with his work, he loves to explore offbeat destinations of Ladakh on his self-modified 500 cc Royal Enfield bike along with his friends.
He has a good command on four regional languages which enables him to interact with local people easily and thus providing our guests valuable and correct information. His dedication towards the work has brought us together and the bond is strong.
