  • Delhi – Jim Corbett (235 KS)
    Early morning drive towards Ramnagar.  19KS from Ramnagar is the Dhangari which is the entrance to the Jim Corbett National Park. Dhangari is also famous for the museum of dead animals.
    Arrive and check in to the resort. After getting fresh, relax for some time.
    The Jim Corbett National Park is the oldest national park in India which was established in 1936 as Hailey National Park. It was originally considered as a game reserve in 1907 by British Administration. The preserve was renamed in 1954–55 as Ramganga National Park and was again renamed in 1955–56 as Corbett National Park, after the hunter turned conservationist Jim Corbett. The sanctuary was the first to come under Project Tiger, an Indian wildlife protection initiative. Spread over 1200 sq.kms, the park is situated at bank of River Kosi in the foothills of Himalayas.
    Post lunch, proceed for the afternoon park safari with the naturalist.
    Evening: Return to the hotel.

    After bed tea and cookies, proceed for Jim Corbett National Park with naturalist.
    Return back to the hotel for breakfast. Day is free to relax or spend some time by the river.
    Optionally, proceed for another park ride post lunch.
    Evening: Gather at the resort’s lawn for a gala evening around the bonfire.

    After leisurely breakfast, drive to Delhi.

  • ✔ One can also take Shatabdi Express train to Kathgodam and then drive to Jim Corbett NP from there (62 KS). Same way departure from Jim Corbett NP can be planned.
    ✔ From Jim Corbett NP a day excursion to Nainital can be done. Nainital is a popular hill station among Indian tourists. The town is set in a valley containing a pear shaped lake and surrounded by mountains.
    ✔ This weekend trip can also be done on bike. We will provide a Royal Enfield bike with route map.
